Introduction

Doug is a senior associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Workouts Group. Doug focuses his practice on reorganization in chapter 11 bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts as well as individual insolvency in chapter 7 bankruptcy and negotiation of guaranty liability. Doug also represents both buyers and sellers in the sales of assets of insolvent companies, and creditors of debtors in bankruptcy on preference, landlord/tenant, contract, and lease matters.

Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Doug spent nine years as the Plant Manager and Eastern Regional Manager of a closely-held manufacturer of ceramic supplies.
