Introduction

Jim is a shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Commercial Litigation Group, with an emphasis in intellectual property litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent cases, involving technologies as diverse as dog training apparatus, concrete blocks, and medical devices. Jim also handles copyright and trademark litigation matters, as well as various other business disputes. Jim has extensive experience litigating in both federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.
