Introduction
Deb is a senior paralegal in Fredrikson & Byron’s Intellectual Property Group and has over 25 years experience in the area. Deb primarily works with the attorneys and clients in preparing, filing, and prosecuting domestic, international, and foreign patent applications. She has developed a strong knowledge of the International Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the U.S. Patent Office, and other foreign laws’ regulations and procedures for filing and prosecuting patent applications, and helping patent owners better understand the complex issues in patent filings.
Deb also assists attorneys with patent-related due diligence work, patent family, assignment and title searching, and the preparation, filing, and prosecution of domestic and foreign trademark and copyright applications.
