Fredrikson & Byron Attorney Luis Reséndiz Named to
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s “25 on the Rise”
Minneapolis, MN November 24, 2010 – – Luis Reséndiz, a shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Corporate, Franchise, and International Groups, has been selected as one of the 2010 “25 on the Rise” from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes 25 Latino men and women under the age of 40 who have demonstrated uncommon levels of dedication, enthusiasm, and vision in their careers and the community.
Reséndiz was named a “40 Under 40” Young and Promising Business Person by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in 2004. His domestic practice covers a variety of business matters, including drafting supply, distribution and licensing agreements, merger and acquisitions, and other general corporate matters. He has particular expertise on regulatory and contractual issues related to franchising. With his dual education/licensing in civil code and common law, background and knowledge of the different legal systems, and understanding of cultural differences, he represents U.S. clients doing business in Latin America and Latin American clients doing business in the U.S. Reséndiz helps oversee Fredrikson & Byron’s office in Monterrey, Mexico. He practices out of both the Minneapolis and Monterrey offices.
