Fredrikson & Byron Attorneys Elected to Positions within the
Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association


Minneapolis, MN June 7, 2011 – – Fredrikson & Byron is pleased to announce three attorneys’ elections to positions within the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association: Rachna Sullivan, President-Elect; Leah Janus, Vice President of Legal Education; and Dulce Foster, Chair of the Federal Transportation Program. Sullivan is a shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Business Litigation Group. She represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex business litigation, including contract disputes and shareholder and partnership disputes in federal and state courts. Sullivan is also an advisor for several clients including multinational clients. She has been voted by her peers as a Super Lawyer & Rising Star.

Janus is a senior associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Commercial Litigation Group. Her practice includes all areas of complex commercial litigation, including class actions, with a focus on banking and financial services litigation, shareholder disputes, legal malpractice defense, and trusts and estates litigation. Janus also advises clients on risk-management and litigation avoidance strategies in complex contract and consumer transactions. Janus appears in state and federal courts throughout the country.

Foster is a shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s White Collar & Regulatory Defense and Litigation Groups and Chairs the Internal Investigations Group. Her practice includes criminal and civil litigation in the areas of financial fraud, healthcare fraud, foreign corrupt practices, trade secrets theft, election fraud, illegal immigration, environmental crimes and False Claims Act defense.
