Intellectual Property is the body of law that deals with patents, copyrights and trademarks. Our activities are focused on securing and enforcing patent, trademark and copyright rights, and advising clients regarding trade secret protection. Counseling clients with respect to avoiding infringement of the rights of others is also a central part of our activities.

Our business clients range from individuals and small privately held business to Fortune 500 companies. Our clients have come to rely on our ability to navigate through the sometimes complex channels of the intellectual property legal scene. Most of the attorneys in our department have engineering or other scientific degrees and are admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Most have significant work experience in a technical field as well. As part of our repertoire of services, we employ sophisticated computerized research facilities for patent and trademark searching.
