Introduction
Since 1978, Larry has practiced with Fredrikson & Byron exclusively in the areas of real estate, real estate development, land-use, and construction law. He has been certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Estate Law Specialist, and has served as a chairman of the Real Property Section of the Hennepin County Bar Association. Well respected in the real estate community, Larry has earned his reputation as a “problem-solver.” His emphasis on service, attention to detail, and loyalty to his clients has earned Larry his clients' trust and friendship.
Larry has served as chairman of the Board of Editors of the Minnesota Real Property Law Survey, is a former chairman of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s Real Property Section, is a past member of the State Real Property Law Council, has served on several Bar Association committees, and frequently lectures in Continuing Legal Education programs. He has been an adjunct professor of Real Estate transactions at William Mitchell College of Law, and a former lecturer in Business Law and Real Property Law at the University of Minnesota.

Representative Experience
- Represented business entities (large and small) in buying and selling numerous commercial, industrial, manufacturing and warehouse facilities across the country;
- Represented owners and end users in the development of property for commercial and residential purposes;
- Represented owners, property managers, and tenants in leasing office, medical, industrial, manufacturing, retail, mixed-use, warehouse, and residential space;
- Represented owners in connection with leasing several regional shopping centers and significant downtown office and retail complexes.
- Created new residential, commercial and mixed-use Common Interest Communities, including condominiums and planned communities, and other integrated forms of ownership;
- Represented property owners and developers in financing and refinancing a wide range of real estate projects;
- Represented owners, including health organizations, in the development, design and construction of new healthcare and health technology facilities in Minnesota and other states, including labs, hospitals, clinics, medical imaging facilities, and medical office buildings;
- Represented owners, tenants, builders, and design professionals in connection with the design and construction of corporate headquarters projects, manufacturing facilities, shops, office facilities, warehouses, and numerous special purpose and high technology facilities;
- Represented land owners in curing title defects and in dealing with technical title matters, such as the preparation and negotiation of skyway agreements, reciprocal easement and operating agreements, and various land-use regulation mechanisms.
