Introduction

Gail provides comprehensive representation for health care clients, with an emphasis in advising clinics, physician groups, hospitals, nonprofit organizations, integrated delivery systems, medical device companies, dietary supplement manufacturers, and other health care businesses. She advises clients on federal and state regulation of health care including Stark, anti-kickback, and FDA regulations, as well as credentialing, medical staff issues, clinical trial contracts, physician organizations, compliance plans, and dietary supplement regulation. Gail is a member of the Health Law, Health Care Fraud and Compliance, and Food, Drug & Medical Device Regulation Groups of the firm. Gail’s previous experience in the management of medical clinics provides her with an understanding of the practical application of health law.

  • Help specialty and primary care groups merge with other groups

  • Facilitate resolution of physician disputes
  • Help health systems restructure their governance and medical staff bylaws
  • Review employment contracts for residents
  • Develop and implement Medicare compliance plans for provider groups
  • Defend providers against allegations of false billing violations
  • Review advertising and promotional materials for dietary supplement manufacturers
  • Represent clients receiving Warning Letters from the FDA
  • Advise clients regarding clinical trial agreements and billing issues
  • Negotiate contracts for hospital-based physicians
