Introduction

Andrew is an associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Litigation and White Collar & Regulatory Defense Groups. Andrew’s practice focuses on a wide variety of business litigation, including closely-held shareholder disputes, employment litigation, and breach of contract cases. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Andrew served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Diana Murphy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Representative Experience

  • Represents major national health care clinic and its physicians in employment-related dispute that includes discrimination, breach of contract, and business tort claims.
  • Frequently represents large agricultural cooperative across jurisdictions in matters ranging from contract disputes to workers’ compensation claims to premises liability and personal injury defense.
  • Successfully assisted client in having his criminal record expunged.
  • Part of defense team that represented large nursing home organization in criminal neglect case; organization successfully avoided debarment and loss of licensure.
  • Successfully assisted minority shareholder secure a court-ordered buyout of ownership interest in closely-held company.
  • Represents closely-held company and majority shareholders in minority shareholder’s attempt to force court-ordered buyout.
  • Secured $200,000 judgment against debtor who refused to pay for services rendered.
  • Assisted pro bono client in securing free and appropriate public education as well as remuneration for past violations of client’s rights.
  • Successfully represented pro bono client in vacating default judgment and negotiating dismissal of all adverse claims.
