Introduction

Ryan is a shareholder of Fredrikson & Byron and a member of the firm’s Health Law, Food, Drug & Medical Device Regulation, Medical Technology, and Corporate Groups. He serves as “outside general counsel” for many of his clients. Ryan’s experience includes the following:

  • representation of medical device and life science companies, health information technology companies, health care providers, and other businesses in a variety of corporate and regulatory matters
  • structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
  • representation of clients in civil and criminal investigations
  • advising corporate boards on a variety of corporate governance matters

Ryan is a member of the firm’s ethics and risk management committee.
