Introduction

Sean is a shareholder and chair of the firm’s business and tax planning group as well as co-chair of the Private Equity group. Sean’s practice focuses on merger and acquisition transactions representing sellers, private equity funds, and strategic buyers. Sean also works with businesses on transactions involving all aspects of their life cycle from formation, to capital raising, joint ventures, and exit. Prior to practicing law, Sean’s professional background included working as a tax attorney at Deloitte & Touche. Sean is active in the management of Fredrikson & Byron, currently serving as an elected member of the Compensation Committee.
