When I pick up my shirts every week, there is a paper sign on each hanger that proclaims ‘A Masterpiece of Expert Cleaning.’ I strive to hold my work to my dry cleaner’s standard.”
General Bio

Introduction

Ted is an associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. Somewhat a jack-of-all trades, Ted worked in the audio/visual technology field, in the construction industry, and even (briefly) as an actor before pursuing a legal career. Today, Ted draws from his diverse experiences and broad knowledge base to creatively and effectively litigate, with the purpose of helping clients protect their most valuable intangible assets, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, always at the forefront of his mind.

Ted has been involved in all aspects of litigation—from pre-suit investigation to trial on the merits, from discovery and depositions to appellate review. He has experience handling matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in both state and federal court.
