Introduction

Paul is an associate attorney in Fredrikson & Byron’s Intellectual Property Group. He works with clients on all aspects of intellectual property protection, focusing on patent prosecution and counseling in the chemical, mechanical, and medical device fields. His projects have involved subject matter such as chemical compositions, films and coatings, industrial processes, packaging structures, mechanical devices, medical electrical stimulation hardware and therapy delivery methods, drug infusion devices, and magnetic storage media.

Paul uses his experience in law and technology to help clients of all sizes understand and effectively protect their intellectual property assets. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, he was a Law Clerk in 3M’s Office of Intellectual Property Counsel and a process design engineer for ExxonMobil Research & Engineering Co. Paul also worked as a manufacturing co-op engineer for the polymers division of S.C. Johnson (now part of BASF).
