Introduction

Raymond Lazar is a shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Family Law, Litigation, and Trusts & Estates Groups. Ray’s experience handling some of the most complicated family law cases has earned him a reputation as an attorney who is incredibly protective of his clients. Ray invariably finds solutions allowing his clients to move through these emotional and stressful circumstances. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has argued substantial matters before Minnesota Appellate Courts.

Ray handles numerous complex matrimonial disputes involving large estates, business valuations, tax planning, and employment issues. He frequently advises other lawyers on structuring complex family law settlements, and is a trained mediator. Ray is a co-author of Legal and Mental Health Perspectives on Child Custody Law: A Deskbook for Judges, published by West Group, and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School for 16 years.
