Introduction
Mia is a senior associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Intellectual Property Group. She is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Her practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patents in the medical device, chemical, biological, food, and green technology areas, as well as patentability analysis, product clearance reviews, and international patent matters. Her work also includes drafting and negotiating IP licenses and other agreements, IP due diligence for business transactions, and IP litigation. In addition, Mia is a member of the Food, Drug & Medical Device Regulation Group and the Life Sciences Group. Mia works closely with clients to understand their businesses needs and to develop strategies to maximize the value of their intellectual property.
