Introduction

Nicole is a senior associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Litigation Group. She represents clients in civil, regulatory, and white collar criminal matters. Her practice focuses on health litigation, white collar and regulatory defense, and business and commercial litigation. She also represents clients in a number of pro bono matters and is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee.

Representative Experience

  • Health Litigation: Represented physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other entities in matters facing health care professionals in health care litigation, including State and Federal government investigations, Medicare and Medicaid compliance issues, False Claims Act allegations, and licensing and credentialing matters. 
  • White Collar and Regulatory Defense: Assisted individuals and businesses in State and Federal investigations and disputes involving antitrust, securities fraud, false claims, and consumer fraud.
  • Business and Commercial Litigation: Assisted clients in many areas in business and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, construction litigation, and employment disputes. Nicole has also represented clients involved in complex multidistrict litigation. 
  • Pro Bono: Represented individuals and nonprofit and religious institutions in matters involving Constitutional issues. Nicole is also part of a team of lawyers at Fredrikson & Byron who represent a Guantànamo detainee. In addition, Nicole is a volunteer attorney with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and assists low-income individuals in many areas, including consumer and family law.
