Introduction

Tim is a senior associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Litigation Group. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Tim served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Richard H. Kyle and the Honorable Arthur J. Boylan of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Tim represents clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on business torts, patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and non-compete disputes, and litigation under the Uniform Commercial Code. Tim also advises and assists receivers and creditors in receivership proceedings and related commercial litigation such as fraudulent transfers in Ponzi scheme litigation.

Tim is also a member of the firm’s E-Discovery Resources Group, helping clients keep track of this rapidly developing and changing environment so they are poised to strategically conduct e-discovery preservation, implement litigation holds, and review and produce electronic documents in a cost-effective manner.

In addition to his legal practice, Tim is actively involved with the Federal Pro Se Project and Volunteer Lawyers Network. Outside the office, Tim is an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota Law School, teaching Practice and Professionalism to first year law students.
