Introduction - Health Law Bio

Jim is a shareholder in the firm’s Health Law, Health Care Fraud & Compliance, and Compensation Planning & Employee Benefits Groups. He specializes in the representation of businesses and professionals in the health care industry, including hospitals, clinics, integrated health care systems, diagnostic facilities, ambulatory surgical centers, medical, dental and other health care providers. Jim regularly advises clients regarding the laws that impact health care providers, including Medicare fraud and abuse, Stark anti-referral regulations, antitrust, employment, tax, employee benefits, corporate and managed care. Jim also has extensive experience in structuring joint ventures and other forms of affiliations, including mergers, asset purchases and sales, employment and personal service contracts.
