Introduction

Matt is a senior associate practicing in Fredrikson & Byron’s Real Estate Group. Matt works with private and publicly held businesses on a variety of transactions and business matters, including sales and acquisitions, development, leasing and financing.

Matt also practices in the area of public finance, acting as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and lender’s counsel in 501(c)(3), exempt-facility, small-issue, and multi-family housing tax-exempt bond issues involving various structures and credit enhancements.

Matt is an MSBA Board Certified Real Property Specialist and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Super Lawyers magazine and Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.

Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Matt worked as an associate attorney in the real estate transactions group of a local law firm and as an associate attorney for the public finance group of a law firm in Duluth, Minnesota.
