Jon is a shareholder in the Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital, and Emerging Business Groups. His focus is working with closely held businesses and providing general legal and business services with a concentration on mergers and acquisitions and providing assistance on capital issues.

Jon is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education seminars on business and tax topics, including North Dakota Sales & Use Tax Law; North Dakota Limited Liability Company Act; Business Entity Selection in North Dakota; Real Estate Like Kind Exchange Transactions and Estate Planning.
