Introduction

As Fredrikson & Byron's Chief Operating Officer, John brings over 25 years of experience in legal industry management and administration. John has executive responsibility for Marketing, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Information Resources, and Administrative Services, and acts in an ex-officio capacity on the Firm's Board of Directors, its Executive Committee, and the Fredrikson & Byron Foundation. John's greatest contributions are in building strong teams, having gained the insight and ability to identify and coach individuals and groups of professionals much smarter than he is.

John joined Fredrikson & Byron in 1994, prior to which he held management, financial, and general operations positions at Dorsey & Whitney and, before that, in the financial, technology, and higher education fields.
