Legal BLOGS

netWORKed

Lawyers discussing social media, the Internet, and technology in the workplace.

In today’s netWORKed society, the line between the personal and the professional has increasingly blurred. This interconnectivity presents employers with tremendous opportunities on the one hand, as well as challenges and legal risks on the other. We regularly advise employers on how to avoid legal risk, while still garnering the rewards and efficiencies of technology. We decided that it was time to bring this discussion online. We will keep you posted on current events in the ever-changing legal landscape of technology in the workplace. How do you as an employer harness the power of the web and protect yourself at the same time? Join us in that discussion!

Employer Law Update

The blog is dedicated to provide a timely update of changing employment and labor law for management.

Employment and labor laws and regulations are constantly changing. Employers need to keep up to date with these ever changing and sometimes expanding rules that affect their operations. Some of these changes are significant and others are less so. My focus is to identify these changes and novel issues in order to inform and educate employers, their human resources staff, and legal representatives.

While the subject matters I discuss may be broad and cover a large array of statutes, regulations, and court decisions, the individual postings will be narrowly focused and geared towards helping employers understand these changes in order to promote effective employment and labor relations. Join me in that discussion!
