Facilities

Manager of Facilities. Fredrikson & Byron has an opportunity available for a Manager of Facilities. This position will manage all administrative service functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Provides supervision to hospitality staff, maintenance staff, and management and direction to Copy & Fax Center and Records Center.
  • Ensures financial criteria for the proper and prudent operation of all administrative service areas are met, including managing budgets and paying invoices.
  • Maintains security for premises and personnel.
  • Keeps informed on pricing structures of office equipment and furniture, negotiates purchases/contracts, including assisting employees in furnishing their offices. Coordinates moves and supervises work of moving company employees.
  • Participates as a member of the space committee in issues relating to planning, design, construction, use of office space, lease planning and implementation.
  • Plans and coordinates build out of new space, including, management of all day to day and overall construction details and relationships, furniture selection and installs, and other build out details.
  • Maintains all service contracts and outside vendor agreements relating to administrative services, facilities, non-welfare insurance policies; ensures compliance with same.

Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Candidates must have previous supervision/management experience of 3-5 years, excellent communication, organizational skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel. 

Finance

Credit Analyst. Fredrikson & Byron has an opening for a Credit Analyst in our Finance department. The position will be responsible for direct collection efforts including telephone calls, letters to clients and arrangement of payment plans. This position also works closely with attorneys on credit review of new business. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with 3-5 years experience in the professional services industry. Qualified candidates should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Marketing

Business Development Coordinator. Oversees all aspects of firm and practice group tradeshows and sponsorships with a business development component. Provides primary coordinator support for RFP responses, business development proposals and presentations, and business development materials. Excellent opportunity for articulate, energetic, detail-oriented individual to provide business development project coordination for a large Minneapolis law firm. Responsibilities include:

  • Works with Marketing Managers on presentation and proposal development and coordination, including maintaining and expanding our firm-wide and practice groups’ master materials.
  • Maintains processes and systems for tracking business development pursuits and opportunities and regular updating of business development materials.
  • Coordinates all trade show needs, negotiate and coordinate all aspects of sponsorship packages and ensure fulfillment of each, and create tradeshow project plans and track dates/deliverables.  Responsible for tradeshow logistics and execution from start to finish.

Qualifications include previous experience with sponsorship evaluation, negotiation, and implementation, including event planning and execution; business development support and production of materials. Strong organizational, proofreading, writing and editing skills a must. Three to five years of marketing experience required with professional services marketing experience a plus.

Marketing Technology Coordinator. Fredrikson & Byron, one of Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, is expanding its Marketing & Business Development team to include a full-time Marketing Technology Coordinator with a full-benefits package. This position will work with the team to develop, execute and monitor Fredrikson’s marketing technology strategies and tools, with particular focus on CRM, email marketing, website and social media.

The Marketing Technology Coordinator collaborates with the marketing & business development team, attorneys and practice groups to determine how marketing technology systems can enhance marketing strategies and meet business objectives. In particular, this position will focus on coordinating various initiatives, training models and best practices to help Fredrikson utilize social media, email marketing, website and CRM. This position will also work with the team to design monitoring and reporting structures for marketing technology objectives.

The Marketing Technology Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Working with managers and practice groups to determine how to maximize email marketing and social media that connects with clients and markets Fredrikson’s services.
  • Proactively coordinating the development Fredrikson’s website architecture and content management. This includes coordinating various website projects and monitoring web analytics that will assist the team in better evaluating key strategies and objectives.
  • Working across the firm to utilize CRM and provide training and best practices.
  • Researching trends on innovative methods to maximize marketing technology in order to connect with clients and prospects.
  • Monitoring key competitor websites and Fredrikson’s social media presence and profile.

Qualified candidates will have strong writing skills and three to six years’ experience working with a variety of marketing technologies. Preferred qualifications include experience providing training to high performing professionals and establishing reporting metrics. Experience providing assistance in modification and development of multimedia capabilities as well as working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, and/or Adobe Suite is a plus.

Bismarck – Paralegal

Paralegal. Our Bismarck office is seeking an experienced paralegal. The attorneys in our Bismarck, North Dakota office represent a wide variety of clients within the energy sector, with a focus on oil and gas, complex real property, eminent domain and permitting matters. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to handle a busy workload, able to work independently and have strong communication skills. Real estate, oil and gas law and/or litigation experience preferred. We seek professional individuals, preferably with at least five years experience. A paralegal degree is preferred.

Bismarck – Legal Secretary/Office Assistant

Legal Secretary/Office Assistant. Our Bismarck office has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will work with our highly regarded Energy Group. The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the title attorneys. Candidates should have familiarity with basic real estate terms and concepts. Minimum of five years’ experience required and a typing speed of 50 wpm. Candidates should also be extremely detail-oriented and have advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Legal Secretary/Office Assistant. Our Bismarck office has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will provide legal secretary support to the office. Candidates should have familiarity with basic real estate terms and concepts and litigation practices. We prefer candidates who have a minimum of five years experience and a typing speed of 50 wpm. Candidates should also be extremely detail-oriented and have advanced skills in Microsoft 2003 and Excel.
