Minneapolis, MN November 4, 2002 - - Fredrikson & Byron announces that two attorneys have joined the firm's Minneapolis office.  Natalie Kadievitch has joined the firm's Intellectual Property group as an officer and Marian Saksena has joined the firm's Family Law group as a staff attorney. 

Natalie D. Kadievitch is a registered patent attorney with over 13 years of patent prosecution experience and focuses her practice in the areas of electronics, computer software and hardware, Internet, e-commerce, telecommunications and medical devices.  She has significant experience in opining on infringement and validity issues in the electrical and mechanical arts and conducting due diligence investigations.  Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Kadievitch practiced at Merchant & Gould, after relocating from Chicago where she was a shareholder at Brinks Hofer.  She received her J.D. degree from George Washington University and completed her undergraduate work in electrical engineering at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

Marian E. Saksena's practice involves advising clients on a wide variety of life changing issues including marital dissolutions, child custody, adoption, domestic abuse, and paternity cases.  She also works closely with individuals on disputes involving child support, visitation/parenting time, and post-dissolution matters.  Saksena is a member of the Minnesota Supreme Court Juvenile Protection Rules Committee and was Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Children & the Law Section from 2001-2002.  Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, she worked for Children's Law Center of Minnesota, where she represented children in foster care and adoption cases.  Saksena received her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and completed her undergraduate work at Grinnell College.
