INTA Volunteer Service Award Recipient And Domain Name Expert Caroline Chicoine Joins Fredrikson & Byron, P.A.
Minneapolis, MN October 3, 2007 – – Caroline Chicoine has joined Fredrikson & Byron’s Intellectual Property, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Trademark Groups.
Caroline’s practice focuses on trademarks, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement in the U.S. and abroad, negotiating and preparing trademark licenses, customs recordation in the U.S., and conducting intellectual property due diligence.
Caroline’s particular expertise is in the area of domain names and the Internet where she counsels clients with respect to domain name and online disputes, including preparation and prosecution of complaints under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy.
Caroline earned her Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and earned her JD from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where she was an editor of the Software Law Journal.
