Fredrikson & Byron Attorney Richard H. Kyle, Jr. Appointed to the
Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board
Minneapolis, MN January 11, 2008 – – Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. attorney Richard H. Kyle, Jr. was appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board for a three-year term beginning February 1, 2008. Kyle was nominated by the Minnesota State Bar Association. The 23-member Board is responsible for oversight and administration of the Minnesota lawyer discipline system. The Board meets four times per year to consider issues involving the lawyer discipline system, including rule changes and policy implementation. The primary criteria for being selected to the board consists of a strong interest in Minnesota’s lawyer disciplinary system and past experience within that system. Previously, Kyle served on the second district (Ramsey County) ethics committee before becoming President of the Ramsey County Bar Association this past year.
