Fredrikson & Byron Hires Three Attorneys
Minneapolis, MN May 2, 2008 – – Fredrikson & Byron announces three attorneys have joined the firm: Erick Flyckt (Title Examination Attorney, Real Estate), Krista Hatcher (Associate, Employment & Labor), and Sarah Shuler Keane (Associate, Trusts & Estates).
Erick Flyckt’s primary emphasis of his practice is title examination and opinions related to oil and mineral rights. Erick has examined commercial and residential titles, reviewed and drafted related documents, and coordinated closings in many U.S. jurisdictions. Erick’s experience also includes focus on commercial and residential landlord/tenant law, purchase transactions, wind easements and ground leases, foreclosure consultation and loan workouts, and mechanic’s liens.
Krista Hatcher serves clients in employment litigation as well as advice. She represents employers in the defense of employment-related actions, including wage and hour, noncompete, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, OSHA, and NLRA. On the advice side, Krista counsels and trains employers on a wide range of employment issues, and also drafts employee handbooks and employment agreements.
Sarah Shuler focuses on areas of estate planning and trust, and taxation law. Sarah represents individuals and business owners on a variety of matters including preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents. Sarah brings with her experience in several areas including wills and probate, estate planning, business entity formation, commercial and residential real estate, and corporate governance.
