Fredrikson & Byron Announces New Board of Directors


Minneapolis, MN September 25, 2008 – – Fredrikson & Byron has elected Steve Dickinson, and reelected John Erhart, John Koneck, Mary Ranum, and John Satorius to serve on its Board of Directors. They join Clint Cutler, Sean Kearney, Ann Ladd, and Neil Weikart, who are currently serving board terms. In addition, Koneck, Ladd, and Cutler were reelected to Fredrikson & Byron’s Executive Committee.

Dickinson, board Secretary, is a shareholder and practices in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate law, international law, and securities law. Erhart, board Treasurer, is a shareholder in the firm’s Tax Planning and Business Organization Group, whose main areas of practice are corporate, tax and business planning, including acquisitions and business planning for public and closely held corporations. Board member Ranum is chair of the Real Estate Group and works with a broad range of clients including lending institutions, major retailers, and real estate developers on acquisitions, financings, and leasing. Satorius was reelected Chairman of the Board. He also serves as chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee, and as outside general counsel to a diverse base of mid-market public and private companies. Koneck was reelected President of Fredrikson & Byron, is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, and is a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation Groups.

Sue Steinwall and Dave Bunde were elected to the Fredrikson & Byron Foundation Board of Directors, joining reelectees Todd Wind, Jim Dorsey, and Bert Ranum.
