Lobbyist Melissa Parker Joins Fredrikson & Byron’s Government Relations Group
Minneapolis, MN December 29, 2008 – – Melissa Parker has joined Fredrikson & Byron as a lobbyist in the Government Relations Group. Prior to joining Fredrikson, Melissa served as the Executive Assistant to the Speaker of the House, Margaret Anderson Kelliher, where she was an informational resource to government relation specialists, lobbyists, agency representatives, and advocates. She was also the liaison between caucus leadership, greater caucus membership, and staff. Melissa served as the House DFL Caucus Campaign Director and managed the efforts that saw record fundraising and brought house democrats to the majority and finally to the current 87 seats. Melissa has also served as U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Political Coordinator. Melissa is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
