Fredrikson & Byron Attorney David Gollin Elected to Prestigious National Trust and Estate Organization


Minneapolis, MN January 29, 2009 – – Fredrikson & Byron shareholder David B. Gollin has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), one of the premier legal organizations in the estate planning area. ACTEC is a national professional organization of 2,600 lawyers nationwide who have made outstanding contributions to the field of trust and estate law.

David Gollin is a member of Fredrikson & Byron’s Trusts & Estates and Trusts & Estates Litigation groups. With over seventeen years of experience of counseling individuals and families on wealth transfer and tax planning matters, his areas of expertise include estate and gift tax planning, estate and trust administration, and business succession planning. A significant part of David’s practice includes negotiating and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. David’s practice also includes advising clients regarding asset protection matters, the formation of ownership entities, charitable planning, and the resolution of estate and gift tax controversies and intra-family disputes. David is a frequent lecturer and author on various trust and estate planning legal issues.
