Fredrikson & Byron Forms Aging & Disability Providers Group
Minneapolis, MN June 3, 2009 – – Fredrikson & Byron recently assembled a new team of attorneys to provide comprehensive services to aging and disability providers, including skilled nursing facilities, home care agencies, community-based group homes for persons with developmental disabilities, assisted living facilities, and mental health treatment centers. The Aging & Disability Providers Group, led by Sam Orbovich advises clients on regulatory and reimbursement issues, including licensing and certification compliance, Medicaid reimbursement audit appeals, and other legal issues facing these providers. The group combines experienced attorneys knowledgeable in key areas affecting these providers, including corporate transactional matters, health care fraud & compliance, employment & labor, government relations, and real estate.
Whether providing services for our aging population or persons with developmental disabilities, aging and disability providers are experiencing a fundamental discrepancy: as the need for their services expands, the financial resources available from Medicaid, Medicare, or other government payors is shrinking. Fredrikson & Byron’s Aging & Disability Providers Group will help guide providers through these changes. More information regarding this group is available here: http://www.fredlaw.com/areas/aging/index.html.
