Fredrikson & Byron Attorney Thomas A. Judd Elected
to The Arc’s National Board of Directors


Minneapolis, MN January 12, 2011 – – Thomas A. Judd, an officer in Fredrikson & Byron’s Corporate and Business Law Groups, has been elected to the National Board of Directors for the Arc of the U.S. This distinguished group includes activists in the intellectual and development disability movement and leaders from a wide range of professions. Judd has been actively involved with Arc for over 15 years and most recently served as chairman of the Board of Directors for Arc Greater Twin Cities.

Judd practices in the area of corporate and business law and counsels clients in matters ranging from the formation of business entities including commercial transactions, acquisitions and mergers, corporate governance, strategic planning, and succession planning and implementation. Judd has extensive experience with a wide range of business entities from start-up companies to larger established corporations, including the formation, organization, capitalization and governance of corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. His former experience as inside corporate counsel and as a business executive provides him with a unique perspective regarding the legal services clients expect.
