Earns Certified E-Discovery Specialist Distinction
Minneapolis, MN December 19, 2011 – – Fredrikson & Byron is pleased to announce that Timothy O’Shea recently earned the distinction of Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), this certification is not accredited or recognized by the bars of Minnesota and Illinois. This distinction is an assurance to employers, colleagues, and clients that the CEDS-certified professional is serious about efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk reduction in all phases of e-discovery. The exam was assembled over eight months by a team of 40 leading e-discovery professionals.
O’Shea is an attorney in Fredrikson & Byron’s Litigation Group. He is also a member of the firm’s E-Discovery Resources Group, helping clients keep track of this rapidly developing and changing environment so they are poised to efficiently and strategically conduct e-discovery preservation, implement litigation holds, and review and produce electronic documents.
The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists, established by The Intriago Group in 2010, is the member organization for professionals in the private and public sectors who work in the field of e-discovery.
