Fredrikson & Byron Expands Fargo Office
Minneapolis, MN April 11, 2012 – – Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. has continued its growth in the upper Midwest by expanding its Fargo, North Dakota office with four attorneys, effective March 30, 2012. The notable group of Fargo/Moorhead attorneys, includes two who have joined the firm as officers: William L. Guy III, and F. John Williams III; and two attorneys who have joined the firm as associates: Jessica L. Foss and Amy L. Jenson. The team brings a highly regarded regional reputation and a sophisticated trust, estate and business planning practice for individuals, entrepreneurs and closely-held businesses in North Dakota and Minnesota. The attorneys are joined by five paralegals: MaKell Baumgartner, Andrea Jenson-Packer, Deborah Moeller, Kim Thompson, and Joan Wrolstad, along with the team’s four administrative assistants.
The new team of Fredrikson & Byron attorneys will complement the expertise of its attorneys in Bismarck, Fargo, Minneapolis and Des Moines to support clients in the region with trust and estate planning needs and business planning needs.

OFFICERS:
William L. Guy III is an officer in Fredrikson & Byron’s Trusts & Estates Group, serving clients throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. He practices primarily in estate and tax planning for individuals, oil and gas estate planning, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) since 1987, and is certified as an estate law specialist and as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
F. John Williams III is an officer in the Trusts & Estates Group at Fredrikson & Byron. His focus is primarily on estate planning and commercial transactions. Prior to entering law school, John completed his C.P.A. and worked at Deloitte & Touche as a senior tax associate.
ASSOCIATES:
Jessica L. Foss is an associate in the Trusts & Estates Group at Fredrikson & Byron. She focuses her practice on estate planning, including business entity formation and probate. Prior to practicing law, she completed her C.P.A. and worked as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte in Minneapolis.
Amy L. Jenson is an associate in the Trusts and Estates Group, where her practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
PARALEGALS:
MaKell Baumgartner is a paralegal in Fredrikson & Byron’s Trusts & Estates Group. She has focused in the area of probate law for the past six years. She has a background in litigation, corporate, intellectual property, real estate, and probate law.
Andrea Jenson-Packer is a paralegal with experience in the area of estate planning.
Deborah Moeller is a paralegal with experience in probate law and life insurance compliance. Her primary area of practice is probate law.
Kim Thompson is a paralegal working in estate planning, which includes work with various family owned business entities.
Joan Wrolstad is a paralegal with nine years of experience in trust and estate administration. She works primarily in the area of probate law.
