Lori-Ann Jones Elected President of
The Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers
Minneapolis, MN July 3, 2012 – – Fredrikson & Byron is pleased to announce that attorney Lori-Ann Jones was elected president of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL). News of her election was announced at the MABL general membership meeting on June 20, 2012. Jones will begin serving her year-long term as president on July 1, 2012. She currently holds the position of vice president of MABL.

Jones is an associate in the firm’s Employment & Labor Law and Litigation Groups. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, OSHA contests and trials, and general tort matters. Jones has experience taking plaintiff and employee depositions, physician depositions, representing clients in Administrative Hearings, as well as drafting pleadings and motions, including summary judgment motions. Jones has second-chaired two trials, tried workers’ compensation cases, and written numerous pre-trial memorandums and appellant briefs.
MABL’s mission is to promote and support professional development among Black lawyers, judges, and law students in Minnesota.
