Wednesday, July 13, 2016
12:00 – 1:00 P.M. CDT & 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. EST
David Glaser and Steven Beck, attorneys in Fredrikson & Byron’s Health Law Group
A dirty hospital bathroom might result in a quality score that prevents physicians, SNFs, and therapists from receiving the payment they earned under Medicare’s Comprehensive Joint Replacement (CJR) program. Surprised? Value based payment comes with many shockers.
This webinar will provide an overview of some of the issues already apparent in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), CJR and other value and bundled payments. The focus will be on the strategic considerations everyone in the health care industry must consider as reimbursement evolves from fee-for-service to other models, but we will also focus on important details that many commentators overlook.
We have applied for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for this program in Iowa and Minnesota. Please contact Greta Larson at email@example.com if you are an attorney licensed in another state and would like information about obtaining CLE accreditation. We have also applied for Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) credits. Webinar participants will be notified of accreditation upon program approval of CLE and HCCA credits (typically three or four weeks following the webinar).
