Fredrikson & Byron's annual Minnesota Legislative Session Outlook event took place on Thursday December 6, 2018. The work of the 2018 legislative session became the victim of larger political battles. Next year, there will be a new governor and there is potential for new leadership in both the House and Senate. How will Washington politics impact local elections? Will the DFL be able to claim enough seats to gain back control of the House? Will the Senate Special Election result in an upset and a flip in party control?

Moderated by TPT-TV's Mary Lahammer, our panel gave a preview of the upcoming session's major topics. There is still a lot of unfinished business due to Governor Dayton’s vetoes -- how will a new governor and legislative leadership deal with this? Take a moment to view the session recap.
