Attorneys Mercedes M. Jackson and Bradley J. Wallace Join Fredrikson & Byron
Fredrikson & Byron adds depth to its Private Equity practice with the addition of Mercedes M. Jackson and Bradley J. Wallace. Jackson, a former partner at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, joins the firm as an officer in the Private Equity and Bank & Finance Groups. Wallace was most recently at Perkins Coie in Denver and joins the firm as a senior associate also in the Private Equity and Bank & Finance Groups.

Jackson specializes in debt finance transactions and advises clients on compliance matters under financing and corporate governance documents. Jackson represents corporate borrowers, private equity groups and financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured commercial lending transactions, including acquisition financings, senior, second-lien and mezzanine financings, secured bond offerings, debt restructuring and debtor-in-possession financings.
Wallace’s practice focuses on the representation of senior lenders, subordinated lenders and borrowers in connection with domestic and international acquisition and leveraged buyout financings, workouts, debt restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings, structured financings and intercreditor issues. He also has extensive experience advising strategic buyers and sellers and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and growth equity financings.
