Fredrikson & Byron announces the addition of six associates to the firm’s Minneapolis office.

Darnell M. Cage is a Minneapolis associate in the Intellectual Property and Patents Groups. Cage provides intellectual property counseling and helps clients minimize their patent infringement risk. He received his J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property, business transactional law and entrepreneurship law from the Saint Louis University School of Law. While attending law school, he worked as an equipment installation structural analyst and as a paralegal for an aircraft manufacturing and government contracting company.

Bridget A. Duffus is a Minneapolis associate in the Energy, Litigation, Condemnation & Eminent Domain and Energy Regulation and Permitting Groups. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Duffus served as a law clerk for a leading North American energy delivery company where she gained insight into the legal challenges facing large energy companies. She received her law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Jacob P. Harris is a Minneapolis associate in the Litigation and White Collar & Regulatory Defense Groups. Harris assists clients in a variety of litigation matters including business disputes, criminal defense, investigations and appeals. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, he attended the University of Michigan Law School, graduating with recognition for his commitment to pro bono legal service.

Noah M. Huisman is a Minneapolis associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Securities Groups. Huisman assists public and private companies—both established and emerging—and private equity funds with mergers and acquisitions. In his practice, he counsels companies through the many complex business matters and strategic transactions that arise during the life cycle of a business. He received his law degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.

Christopher R. Kline is a Minneapolis associate in the Trusts & Estates and Trusts & Estates Litigation Groups. Kline’s practice focuses on estate and tax planning for individuals and families, and succession planning for closely held businesses. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While attending law school, Kline was a pro bono honoree and served as an intern at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Kline is licensed to practice in Florida; Minnesota license is pending.

Kaleb E. Rumicho is a Minneapolis associate in the Bank & Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Governance Groups. Rumicho assists clients in all aspects of commercial and debt finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. Rumicho has served as a law clerk for both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
