Fredrikson attorney Christopher D. Pham has been chosen as a 2018 Fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). The Fellow program was created by LCLD to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.

Pham handles a wide range of complex business and commercial cases. He represents clients in cases involving securities and financial fraud, shareholder derivative and class actions, special litigation committee investigations, merger and acquisition litigation, investor-broker firm disputes, contractual disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, and SEC, FINRA and state regulatory proceedings.

Pham is also involved in several pro bono initiatives and is a volunteer attorney for YouthLink, Hennepin County Housing Court Project and Children’s Law Center of Minnesota. He formerly served on the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and as the co-chair of the Young Lawyers Group. At Fredrikson & Byron, he’s a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Pham has also spoken about diversity at multiple events in the Twin Cities.

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “a year-long, in-depth program devoted to relationship-building, in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and the best teachers in the business.”

Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 285 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than 1,000 mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.
