Fredrikson & Byron Hires New Associates
Fredrikson & Byron announces the addition of six associates to the firm's Minneapolis office.
Samuel M. Andre is an associate in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Workouts and Litigation Groups. Andre's practice focuses on corporate restructuring, creditors’ remedies, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He represents businesses, commercial lenders and individuals in the areas of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. Andre served as a judicial law clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Texas and received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Mary G. Hyland is an associate in the Real Estate Group. Hyland assists clients with commercial real estate transactions involving office, multi-family, industrial, retail and mixed-use properties. She represents retailers, corporations, lenders, borrowers, landlords and tenants in a wide array of matters. Hyland received her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Renee Worke in the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Chelsey E. Jonason is an associate in the Health Care Group. Jonason assists clients with health care regulatory compliance, litigation and transactional matters. Her clients include hospitals, clinics, long-term care providers and licensed health care professionals. Before joining Fredrikson, Jonason clerked for Justice Thomas E. Humphrey on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. She attended the University of Minnesota Law School, and prior to law school, Jonason taught second grade in Minneapolis and was a Fulbright Scholar in Slovakia.
Jessica R. Sharpe is an associate in the Litigation Group. Sharpe represents clients in a variety of complex and general litigation matters. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Heidi Schellhas in the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Jeffrey C. Story is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Story assists corporate and business clients with mergers and acquisitions, business and general counsel services, and real estate finance transactions. While attending the University of Nebraska College of Law, Story worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Laurie Smith Camp, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.
Ashley W. Wilson is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Corporate Governance Groups. Wilson advises private companies, private equity funds and public companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and other strategic transactions. She works with both established and emerging companies on a wide array of corporate matters. Prior to attending Vanderbilt University Law School, Wilson worked for a large healthcare company focusing on financial project management and post-acquisition support.
