Attorney Kenneth S. Levinson has joined Fredrikson & Byron as senior of counsel in the Business & Tax Planning, International, Tax Disputes & Litigation, Mergers & Acquisitions and Trusts & Estates Groups.

Levinson is an experienced and recognized tax and transactional attorney who advises clients on a wide range of international business and tax issues. He focuses on worldwide tax planning, transaction structuring and a number of tax issues related to mergers & acquisitions, licensing, employee relocation and international franchising. Levinson has extensive experience dealing with compliance for all federal, state and foreign taxes, expatriate tax issues, audits, appeals proceedings, controversy management, negotiation and litigation, foreign bank account reporting and voluntary disclosures.

Levinson’s practice also focuses on assisting clients with insurance matters including strategic design, tax structuring and implementation of captive insurance companies, advising on insurance programs, analysis of domiciles, loss prevention, managing and negotiating claims, and assessing broker RFPs.
