Litigation Attorneys Zac McFarland and Thomas Wheeler Rejoin Fredrikson & Byron
Attorneys Zachary S. McFarland and Thomas Wheeler have rejoined Fredrikson & Byron in its Litigation Group. McFarland rejoins Fredrikson after serving as a clerk to Judge John R. Tunheim of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Wheeler rejoins Fredrikson following a clerkship with Judge Susan Richard Nelson of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
McFarland provides efficient and effective service while representing clients on a variety of litigation-related matters. He combines strong personal skills with thorough legal analysis to deliver unique perspectives and solutions to his clients’ issues. McFarland has used his diverse skillset to represent clients in contract disputes between closely held businesses, trust and estate litigation, alleged noncompete matters and trade secret violations, internal investigations, and appellate matters in federal and state courts across the country.
Wheeler serves his clients in all stages of complex civil litigation, creating strategies to succeed in every case. He provides legal representation in a wide range of business matters, including breach of contract disputes, product liability defense, medical malpractice defense, employment disputes and health care litigation. Wheeler uses his experiences clerking in Minnesota’s federal and state courts to give sound counsel to, and achieve excellent results for, his clients.
