Overview

Alyssa works closely with clients to develop tailored, practical solutions to their real estate and business legal needs.

She has experience managing all areas of real estate transactions, including lease drafting and negotiations for both landlords and tenants, acquisitions and sales, financing, development, construction and litigation. A varied background in commercial litigation, corporate transactions, bankruptcy and estate planning allows Alyssa to apply broad experience to the wide variety of challenges that clients face.

Alyssa is a Minnesota State Bar Association Certified Real Property Law Specialist which requires a rigorous approval process, including passing an examination on a broad variety of real estate topics, peer review and documented experience.

Alyssa is active in the Hennepin County Bar Association, currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Real Property Section. She previously served on the Minnesota State Bar Association Real Property Section Communications Committee for several years. Her current community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors of House of Charity, a Minneapolis non-profit serving individuals in need of housing, food and mental health services, as well as acting as the Vice Chair of the School Advisory Council for St. Joseph’s Catholic School in West St. Paul, Minnesota. Alyssa previously sat on the University of St. Thomas School of Law Alumni Advisory Board and continues to serve on the Alumni Annual Giving Fund Committee and participate in the law school’s Mentor Program which pairs laws students with practicing attorneys to provide practical experience and networking opportunities to law students.
