Brendan’s practice focuses on advising clients on mergers, acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Brendan represents private equity funds, privately held companies, and public companies across a wide range of industries and market segments in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Brendan practiced corporate law in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin, LLP. Before attending Northwestern University School of Law, he worked as an economic policy researcher first with the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers during the Obama Administration, and then with the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy in the Economic Studies Division of The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.
