As a litigation support professional with over ten years of experience, Ellen guides attorneys and paralegals through the technical and logistical aspects of casework across a range of practice areas. She works to streamline and protect the eDiscovery process throughout all stages of a case.
Prior to joining Fredrikson, Ellen honed her skills in technology and litigation support at a top-ranking, global law firm in Chicago, where she learned best practices compliance and developed her commitment to excellent service. In this role, Ellen worked on high-profile cases for some of the world’s largest private- and publicly-owned companies where she consulted with case teams and provided technical solutions for the reduction of high-volume ESI. Ellen’s background includes experience with IP litigation, internal and DOJ investigations, and an array of civil and criminal cases.
With an interest in the biological basis of language use across species, Ellen studied psychology at the University of Illinois before to transferring to Northwestern University to study biology. She has studied numerous languages, most recently the ancient African language Oromo.
