Evan advises investment banking and corporate clients on various corporate finance transactions, particularly in the areas of high yield, investment grade and corporate credit agreements.
Evan’s practice focuses on strategic mergers and acquisitions, financings and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Evan practiced corporate law in New York City. He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law. While serving in the United States Navy, Evan completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese from the University of Hawaii-Manoa.

Represented the administrative agent in connection with a $2.1 billion revolving credit facility for an oil and gas exploration and production company.
Represented the underwriters in connection with a public offering of $1.4 billion of unsecured notes by a large public financial holding company.
Represented the administrative agents in connection with an $800 million term loan credit facility for a coal and mining company in connection with its spin-off as an independent public company from its former parent company.
Represented the dealer manager in connection with the cash tender offer for $800 million of unsecured notes by a large public financial holding company.
