Kim has over 18 years of experience as a paralegal serving clients in all areas of estate planning, including work with large estates and various family-owned business entities.
Kim is a paralegal working in the Fargo office with the firm’s Trusts & Estates Group. She first entered the legal field in 1995 as a probate and trust administration legal assistant. She currently applies her experience helping clients and attorneys with all phases of estate planning, including preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, real estate transactions, and organizational documents for family-owned business entities. Her personal focus is to provide support to both clients and attorneys throughout each step of the estate planning process by:
Acting as a liaison between clients and attorneys;
Preparing documents (such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives);
Following up with clients to answer questions about their documents or the estate planning process;
Facilitating the various aspects of work flow for each matter from beginning to end;
Coordinating with outside service providers (accountants, brokers, bankers, etc.) as needed to complete each project;
Serving as a point of contact and a referral source for any estate planning or other legal needs that our clients may encounter.
