Overview

Kyle helps individuals and families plan for and achieve their estate planning goals. He focuses on estate tax minimization, wealth transfer, asset protection and charitable giving strategies for clients, many of whom are farmers, ranchers, or professionals.

Kyle’s educational background in both law and business allows him to approach the legal issues confronting his clients with a business mindset and to form solutions that are closely aligned with the clients’ business priorities. Coupled with this fluency in the language of business is Kyle’s small-town work ethic and experience. Having grown up in the farming community in Northwest Iowa, he has first-hand knowledge of the challenges his clients face as they plan to pass on their estates to the next generation in such way as to ensure the preservation of family legacy. His primary goal is to produce solutions that are not only efficient and cost-effective but also emotionally satisfactory for the clients, reconciling what is good for business with what is good for the family by securing fair disposition of the business that heads off any potential animosities or estrangement within the family.
