Overview
Emily supports attorneys and clients across a range of immigration and employment matters, both immigrant and nonimmigrant, assisting with case preparation, deadline tracking and client communication.
Emily brings a client-centered approach, strong organizational and case management skills, and the ability to communicate complex legal processes and concepts into clear, accessible language. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of North Texas and a paralegal certificate from St. Cloud State University through the Center for Legal Studies.
Prior to joining Fredrikson, Emily gained experience as a case manager working with immigrant clients in humanitarian immigration matters, including T and U visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), Asylum, Continued Presence, and Deferred Action. In that role, she assisted immigrant survivors of trafficking while navigating immigration, criminal and civil legal systems, supporting case preparation, coordinating with attorneys and partner agencies and helping clients understand U.S. laws and next steps.
